Purpose
The safety of minors is a top priority for Solitude Trending Zone. This Child Safety Standards page explains our policies and procedures for identifying,
reporting and removing child sexual abuse, exploitation, trafficking and other child-harm content or behavior on our platform.
Age Restriction
Solitude Trending Zone is not for children. You must be 18 years or older to create or maintain an account. Accounts that appear to belong to persons under 18 will be investigated and may be suspended or removed.
How to Report Suspected Child Abuse, Exploitation or Trafficking
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency services first.
- Use the in-app "Report" button on the profile, post, message or room that contains suspected child-harm content.
- When reporting, choose the category that best matches the issue (e.g. "Child Sexual Abuse", "Child Exploitation", "Human Trafficking").
- Provide as much detail as possible (links, usernames, timestamps, screenshots) to help our review team.
- If you prefer, email our safety team at safety@solitude.social with the evidence and your contact details.
Reports may be processed anonymously; however, providing a way for us to follow-up aids investigations.
Response, Content Removal & Account Actions
Upon receiving a report or detecting potential child-harm content via moderation tools, we will:
- Immediately review the content and any associated accounts.
- Remove content that violates our policies or that clearly depicts child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate accounts that create, share or solicit child-harm content.
- Preserve relevant data required for investigations and law enforcement requests.
We may pursue additional measures such as disabling accounts, revoking platform privileges, and notifying affected users.
Cooperation with Law Enforcement & Mandatory Reporting
We cooperate with law enforcement and child protection agencies. In cases involving child sexual abuse, exploitation or trafficking we will:
- Provide preserved evidence and account metadata to law enforcement upon valid legal request.
- Notify relevant child protection authorities where required by law.
- Comply with mandatory reporting obligations in jurisdictions where we operate.
We will not notify a reported account when data is preserved specifically for law enforcement unless required by law.
Preservation of Evidence & Data Handling
When content is reported, we may preserve copies of content, logs, IP addresses, message metadata and other non-content data necessary for investigations.
Preserved data is retained securely and only accessed by authorized personnel or provided to law enforcement when required.
Support for Victims & Resources
We provide resources and links to national helplines and international organizations that specialize in child protection and trafficking:
- National child protection agencies — contact your local or national helpline.
- International resources: UNICEF, ECPAT International, Polaris Project.
- If you need immediate assistance, please contact emergency services in your country.
